“In transit” means the parcel is moving between depots and has not been delivered yet. Gaps without updates are normal: a parcel on a truck, train or plane is only scanned when it arrives somewhere. Wait two to three working days for domestic parcels and one to two weeks for international ones before you take action.
Common reasons a parcel stays in transit
- It is on a long road or air leg with no scan points.
- It is waiting at customs in your country.
- Weather, holidays or high seasons slowed the network.
- It was missorted and sent to the wrong depot first.
- The label was damaged and needs to be reprinted.
