Track Your AliExpress Order

AliExpress orders travel a long way, usually starting with a Chinese carrier such as Cainiao or China Post, flying to your country, clearing customs, and finishing with a local postal service or courier. Because the parcel changes hands several times, tracking can look confusing if you only check one carrier. This guide shows you how to follow an AliExpress order from start to finish, read the tracking number, understand each stage, and know how long standard shipping really takes.

Have an AliExpress tracking number? Enter it on our home page to follow your order across every carrier in the chain. One box covers 2,400+ carriers.

How to Track an AliExpress Order

Open your AliExpress order, tap the item, and copy the tracking number shown under the shipment.

2. Open the home page

Go to the home page where the universal tracking box is ready at the top.

3. Paste and track

AliExpress Tracking Number Format

AliExpress Standard: LP + long digits, or ends in CN
China Post: 2 letters + 9 digits + CN, e.g. RB123456789CN
Cainiao: long numeric or alphanumeric

AliExpress Standard Shipping numbers often start with LP or end in CN. China Post registered items follow the universal format with the CN country code. Cainiao, the logistics arm behind many AliExpress orders, may issue its own long numeric references. Whatever the shape, entering the number lets the tool link the Chinese leg with the destination carrier so you see one combined timeline instead of two disconnected views.

AliExpress Tracking Statuses Explained

  • Order shipped / Awaiting collection: The seller has dispatched the parcel and the carrier is about to collect it.
  • Accepted by carrier / Departure from sorting center: The parcel is in the Chinese network heading to an export hub.
  • Export / Flight departed: The parcel has left China and is in international transit.
  • Import / Customs clearance: The parcel has arrived in your country and is being processed by customs.
  • Handed to local carrier / Out for delivery: A local postal service or courier is completing delivery.
  • Delivered: The parcel has reached its destination.

AliExpress Delivery Times

  • AliExpress Standard Shipping: typically 15 to 30 days to most countries.
  • China Post economy: often 20 to 45 days.
  • Premium and express lines: around 7 to 15 days.
  • Local overseas warehouse orders: can arrive in just a few days.

A fresh AliExpress number can take three to seven days to activate while the seller ships and the carrier records the first scan. Blank tracking right after purchase is normal.

Why Is My AliExpress Parcel Stuck

  • Not activated yet. New numbers need a few days before the first scan appears.
  • Long international leg. Flights and sea legs can pass with no scan for many days.
  • Customs in your country. Import clearance is a common pause point, sometimes for a week.
  • Handover gap. When the parcel passes from the Chinese carrier to your local one, updates can briefly stop.

If an AliExpress order shows no movement for two weeks or more, or is close to the buyer protection deadline, open a dispute on AliExpress so your purchase stays protected.

Tips for AliExpress Orders

  • Choose a shipping method with tracking so you can follow the parcel.
  • Note the buyer protection end date and act before it passes.
  • Give the number a few days to activate before worrying about blank tracking.
  • Keep an eye on customs status, since that is where most delays happen.
