Each TCS booking gets a consignment number that follows the parcel from pickup to delivery. This guide explains how to track a TCS parcel, where to find your consignment number, how long TCS usually takes, and what each status on the timeline means.

TCS Tracking Number Format
A TCS consignment number, sometimes called a CN number, is the unique numeric code assigned to your parcel at the time of booking. It is printed on the receipt the branch gives you and also sent by SMS. This single number is all you need to follow the shipment through every stage, whether it is a document, a parcel, or an online order shipped by a seller through TCS.
TCS Tracking Statuses Explained
- Booked / Shipment created: TCS has registered your parcel and generated the consignment number.
- Received at origin: The parcel has reached the origin branch or hub and is ready to move.
- In transit / Forwarded: The parcel is travelling toward the destination city hub.
- Arrived at destination: The parcel has reached the destination hub for final delivery.
- Out for delivery: A rider is delivering the parcel and it should arrive that day.
- Delivered: The parcel has been handed over to the recipient.
TCS Delivery Times
- Within the same major city: usually next working day.
- Intercity across Pakistan: commonly one to three working days.
- Remote or northern areas: can take a little longer due to distance.
- International: varies by destination and the chosen service.
A newly booked consignment can take a few hours before the first scan shows online. Give it some time before assuming there is an issue.
Why Is My TCS Parcel Delayed
- Weekends and holidays. Movement slows on non working days, so status can pause.
- Weather and road conditions. Rain, landslides, or blocked routes can delay intercity transit.
- Incomplete address. A missing landmark or wrong phone number can hold delivery.
- Recipient not available. If no one receives the parcel, the rider reattempts delivery.
If a TCS parcel shows no update for several days beyond the expected time, call the TCS helpline or visit a branch with your consignment number.
Tips for Smooth TCS Delivery
- Save the consignment number from your receipt or SMS right away.
- Give a complete address with a nearby landmark and a working phone number.
- Keep your phone reachable so the rider can call before delivery.
- For cash on delivery, keep the exact amount ready.
